Will Krause, MAFM

Will Krause is the Vice President of Finance and Corporate Development at Bitterroot. Mr. Krause has more than 15 years of experience in operational and strategic planning, capital fundraising, FP&A, and accounting spanning early-stage to commercial organizations.

Mr. Krause most recently served as Vice President of Finance at Shape Therapeutics, where he established the company’s internal finance and accounting functions and supported the company’s Series B financing and multiple collaboration agreements. Prior to that, Mr. Krause was Chief of Staff and Executive Director of FP&A at Portola Pharmaceuticals. At Portola, Mr. Krause provided strategic executive support along with leading the FP&A function through multiple equity, debt, and royalty transactions to help enable the company’s growth from a clinical-stage organization to a multi-national, commercial-stage company. Early in his career, Mr. Krause held finance and accounting roles of increasing responsibility in the biotechnology industry including KaloBios, Onyx Pharmaceuticals, and Nile Therapeutics.

Mr. Krause holds a Master’s in Accounting and Financial Management, a B.S. in Finance, and is a Certified Public Accountant in California (inactive).
