Alex Yi, MD, PhD

VP, CLINICAL DEVELOPMENT

Alex Yi, M.D Ph.D, is the VP of Clinical Development at Bitterroot Bio.

Dr. Yi has more than 10 years of industry experience in early and late phase clinical development programs in the cardiovascular, metabolic, and rare disease therapeutic areas. Dr. Yi previously worked in clinical development and translational medicine at Anthos Therapeutics, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, and the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research.

Dr. Yi received an M.D and Ph.D in Neuroscience at the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his training in Internal Medicine at NY Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College and fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital.
