Sareen Ohanian

Sareen Ohanian leads the People function at Bitterroot Bio, where she shapes and drives the company’s people strategy and programs. She brings over a decade of experience in life sciences and technology, building and leading people functions for organizations ranging from early-stage startups to multi-site, multi-state companies.

Sareen has led the design and implementation of people functions from the ground up, including talent management, organizational design, total rewards, and compliance programs. She partners closely with leadership teams on organizational change and talent strategy, and has a track record of building processes that strengthen both employee experience and business performance.

Prior to Bitterroot Bio, Sareen was at Scribe Therapeutics, where she developed people programs tied to performance management and employee development.

Sareen holds a B.S. in Business from Menlo College.
